History
By God’s grace, we continue to move forward, rendering our service to the church through hymns and songs of praises.
In the past year, the choir had the privilege of participating in various programs to which we were invited to. We are active in church activities and was invited to participate in the First Annual Zion Praise at the church. We were also invited to our sister church: Ghana United Methodist Church, Long Island Choir Anniversary and a musical workshop and celebration of “OYE at 10” music concert with James Varrick Armaah a famous music composer in the Ghanaian diaspora.

Attendance
As we continue to strengthen our ministry through prayer because it the key to keeping every organization running with the assistance of the Holy Spirit, attendance continues to be sporadic for members, however, we have been blessed with four new members with three on inactive status.
Challenges
Despite the many blessings that came our way, we faced some setbacks that made preparation and rehearsals for the national choir conference on May 23rd, 2019-May 26th, 2019 a challenge. By the Grace of God with the help of our Senior Pastor Rev. Angel Abakah and the church leaders in conjunction with SPPR, we were able to attend the 25th Anniversary of the Association of Ghana United Methodist Church Choir Conference in New Jersey to glorify God.
Goal
With the new executive on board, we hope to continue rendering our services to God through music. Our goal is to host a musical workshop with the congregation for voice training, learning new hymns, songs and reading of tonic solfa. Our goal is to make it a duty to visit the sick and grieving members so we can comfort and sing hymns to them.
We give thanks to the Lord for bringing us this far and allowing us to be servants in his vineyard. It is our prayer that he continues to keep us under his direction and care. Praise be to the Lord, our savior, Jesus Christ.
